Bir-lik is ‘Oneness’ / ‘Solidarity’.

It is a reflection of the Artist’s experiences (thoughts) as an individual embedded into a new culture and all the emotions and challenges that come with it.

The dual existence of feeling alone as a foreigner but also part of a larger community as the Artist builds relationships and put down roots.

Each piece can live on its own, or be viewed as a singular composition. Their orientation and arrangement can change and is meant to evolve over time.

Regardless of quantity. Power of Oneness and Power of Solidarity.
